Settings and your setup
Each Tallify adviser's one-time setup in Settings: importing the client book, providers and rules, signature, own email, Astute CCPs, and practice settings.
The Settings view holds each adviser's one-time setup and the practice's own settings. The setup is a list of steps, each ticked when it is done; until they are all done the console reminds you.
Your setup
| Step | What you do |
|---|---|
| Your client book | Upload your clients (see below). |
| Providers and recommendation rules | Your preferred and alternative provider and product for each need, by risk profile. The worksheet on the Advice tab is seeded from them. |
| Your signature | Draw or upload your signature once. It goes on the disclosure letter's adviser line and on a Record of Advice with one click. |
| Your email | Connect your own mailbox, so client email goes from you and replies come back to you. This step cannot be skipped. Until you connect yours, a practice that has its own mailbox keeps sending from it. |
| Your WhatsApp | Coming soon. |
| Astute CCPs | Upload your clients' Astute CCP reports, many at a time, to file their existing contracts on the registers. |
Office staff get no setup of their own.
Importing your client book
- In Your client book, drop an atWORK client export (recognised by its columns) or any CSV or workbook of your clients.
- The matching screen shows your file's columns beside Tallify's fields, with the first rows, and suggests a match for each. Change any match, or leave a column unmatched.
- Preview, then import. A backup of the practice's data is taken first.
A value that cannot be read is left blank, with a line saying which row and why; nothing is invented. A client already in your book (matched by atWORK id, ID number, then email) is only filled in: a value on the record is never replaced, and their adviser, status and consent never change. Two rows with the same ID number are read as one client. New clients are Active unless the file says otherwise, with consent off unless a consent column says so. On the Practice plan Tallify does the import for you (see Pricing).
The practice's settings
- Logo, birthday message and review frequency. Set by Tallify, and by the practice's principal adviser. Reviews fall due every twelve months unless the practice chooses another period (3 to 36 months).
- Practice details. The name, FSP number, advisers, office staff (and whose clients they see), colour and compliance officer. Tallify fills them in with you; each save rebuilds the disclosure letter, the fact find and the advice layout.
- The letter's sign-off. The compliance officer reads the disclosure letter and signs it off; online signing opens then, and any later change to the letter closes it until it is signed off again.
