Sending a monthly market update
Point every consenting Tallify client to the practice's monthly market update with one short email each, drafted from fixed text and held for approval.
When the practice publishes its monthly market update, for example a post on its website, Tallify drafts one short email per client that points to it. Each email waits under Approvals, Messages.
Starting a market update
- Open Approvals, Messages, and choose Market update.
- Paste the full link to the update, starting with https://.
- Enter the title as clients should see it.
The console says how many emails were drafted and how many clients were skipped. One person can start up to 10 market updates in any hour; past that the console says when to try again.
Who receives it
Every active client with an email address and consent to receive communications. A user scoped to an adviser drafts for that adviser's clients only; an unscoped user drafts for the whole book. Prospects are left out. A client gets one email per link, so starting the same update twice drafts nothing new.
The email
The email is fixed text, not written by a model. It names the month and the title, gives the link, says the update is general commentary and not advice on the client's own portfolio, and invites the client to reply to talk about their position. It is signed with the adviser's email signature and goes from the adviser's mailbox, or the practice's in the adviser's name.
Approving
Each email shows as an Email notice. Choose Approve & send or Reject per client, or Approve all. A client's reply is drafted as a reply.
