Clients and households
The client register, controlled fields, households and beneficiaries.
Client fields
Identity and contact details, ID number and date of birth (derived from the ID when absent), marital status, occupation, employer, address, risk profile, status, advisor, consent, household and notes. Status, marital status, risk profile and relationship are chosen from fixed lists so records cannot drift into free-text variants. Dates and numbers are validated on every save.
Consent
Consent to receive communications is a single flag per client, off by default. It is checked before any communication is drafted and again when one is sent. Turn it off to withdraw consent; it takes effect on the next run.
Households
A household groups spouses or partners. Members are shown on each client and the drafter sees the household position without identity.
Beneficiaries
Beneficiaries are kept per client with relationship and share, and appear in the needs analysis where estate and liquidity are considered.
Advisor scoping
Every client has an advisor. A scoped user sees only that advisor's clients here and everywhere else in the console.
Deleting
Deleting a client is an administrator action and is written to the audit log. Requests from data subjects come to the practice, which is the responsible party under POPIA.
