Cover review

The weekly check of every client's cover against their needs.

When it runs

Every Monday at 08:00 South African time. The review can also be run by an administrator from the Jobs actions.

What it checks

For each client, the life, disability, severe illness and income protection cover on the policy register is compared with the need implied by their circumstances: income, dependants, liabilities and the stated objectives. Each shortfall is a finding.

Findings track change

A finding records when it was first seen, last seen and resolved. The Monday briefing is therefore about what changed: new gaps, gaps that closed, and gaps still open, rather than the same list every week.

The briefing

The briefing is written to the Activity feed for the advisor (scoped users see only their own clients) and is marked read when opened. It is emailed only if the practice has turned email notifications on.
