Costs and drafting limits
What Tallify costs per adviser a month, how each draft's model cost is recorded, and the per-person, per-adviser and practice limits on drafting and sending.
Tallify is priced per adviser a month on three plans, each with a 7-day free trial, no setup fee and cancel any time. Office staff, paraplanners and compliance users are free. See Pricing.
Each draft records the tokens used and an estimated model cost in US dollars, and the figure shows on the draft's item under Approvals, Advice. Drafted client replies record their cost the same way.
Drafting limits
So that a mistake, or a sign-in in the wrong hands, cannot run up a bill, drafting has limits:
| Limit | Default |
|---|---|
| Drafts of one client | One at a time. While a draft is queued or drafting, another cannot start. |
| Drafts one person starts | 10 in any hour |
| Drafts for one adviser | The practice's daily drafts shared by its active advisers, at least 20 a day each |
| Drafts for the practice | 40 a day, counted from midnight South African time |
| Drafts for a practice of three or more advisers | 20 a day for each active adviser instead, when that is more than 40 |
| Drafting spend for the practice | US$25 a day, or US$12.50 for each active adviser when that is more: what today's drafts cost, failed ones included, plus an estimate for each draft still waiting and for the new one |
When a limit is reached, the draft starts nothing and the console says which limit it was and when to try again, for example:
- "A draft for this intake is already queued (AD-...). Wait for it to finish before drafting again."
- "You have queued 10 drafts in the last hour, the most allowed for one person. Please try again in about 12 minutes."
- "This practice has queued 40 drafts today, its daily limit. Drafting opens again at midnight (South African time); Tallify has been told."
- "This practice's drafting budget for today has been reached. Drafting opens again at midnight (South African time); Tallify has been told." An administrator also sees the dollar figures.
Drafts already queued still run. The first time in a day that each limit refuses a draft, Tallify is emailed. The practice can ask Tallify to change any of the numbers; a limit of nought stops drafting altogether.
Packs, reviews and market updates
One person can send 30 fact-find packs and start 10 market updates in any hour, and send 200 review sheets. Past that the console says how many were sent in the last hour and when to try again.
