Approve and file

Filing the advice on the register from the console or by email.

When to approve

Drafting, editing and saving happen before the client has agreed to anything; nothing is on the registers and no client record exists yet for a new client. Approve and file is the step for when the client has agreed and the documents are signed. It is deliberately separate.

From the console

In Advice approvals, an item offers downloads of both drafts, optional uploads of your edited versions, Approve and file and Reject. Approve and file does four things: commits the intake if it is not yet committed, files the Record of Advice as a new version that supersedes the client's current one, files the needs analysis as final, and marks the draft filed. The Telegram chat that started the intake gets a confirmation.

By email

Reply to the email that carried the draft from your registered advisor address. The first line of the reply must be exactly Approved or Rejected on its own. Attach the edited documents if you changed them; they are recognised by content, not by file name. The mailbox is checked every few minutes and the same filing happens as from the console. A message that cannot be processed is left unread and retried.

Rejecting

Reject marks the draft rejected and leaves the intake as it is. Start a new draft after correcting the review form.
