When it runs

Every morning at 07:30 South African time, after the overnight price load.

Thresholds

A fund's latest move is compared with a threshold for its panel category (a money market fund and an equity fund are not held to the same number). The practice can set its own thresholds per category.

What is drafted

For each affected client who has consented to receive updates, a short factual notice is drafted: which fund, how much it moved, and that no action is needed unless the advisor says otherwise. The notice carries the client's first name and the holding value and nothing else about them. Clients without consent are skipped and the skip is logged.

Approval

Drafts wait in Approvals with status drafted. Nothing is sent until an advisor approves it; reject discards it. The same fund and client are not drafted twice for the same movement.
