Commit, spouses and households
What happens when an intake becomes a client.
Commit
Commit creates the client on the register, or updates the existing record when the intake matches one by ID number, then email, then phone, then name. Consent to receive communications is off. Notes, other income and the objectives are written to the client file.
Spouses and partners
When the review form holds a current spouse or partner, the client joins a household (or one is created) and the spouse becomes a linked client in the same household, on the same advisor, with status Prospect and consent off. If a client already exists for the spouse, matched by ID number then name, that record is linked instead. Marital status is mapped from free text to the register's list, so "living together" becomes Life partner.
What the household changes
The drafter sees the household: the spouse's age, occupation and income, and the joint position, without any identity. Cover review is still done per client.
