Uploading notes and photos in the console
Upload meeting notes, photos, PDFs and Word files on Tallify's Intake tab for assisted intake: limits, tips for a clean read, and deleting an intake.
Console upload is the way into assisted intake. A model on the practice's server reads what you upload, with no accuracy promise, so check every figure on the review form before you commit. A completed fact find does not go here: the client sends it through their onboarding link and it is read by code.
Upload
- Open the Intake tab. The New intake panel is at the top.
- Drop or choose a photo, a PDF, a Word document or a text file, or type or paste notes into the box. One file per intake, up to 15 MB. A file is taken only when its name and its content agree, so a renamed file is refused with a message that says what the upload takes.
- Choose Extract client facts. The status shows the job queued, then extracting. The console follows it until the read is done and opens the review form for you.
From a phone
The console works on a phone. In the New intake panel, take the photo with the camera, send it, and review it later at a desk.
What reads well
- A flat, well-lit photograph. Each photograph is its own intake.
- A PDF with selectable text rather than a scan.
- Notes with the amounts written next to the item: "bond R 2 100 000, instalment R 21 500 pm, 4.5 years left".
- Frequencies for income and expenses when they are not monthly: "school fees R 48 000 per year, due January".
Deleting an intake
Any user with the row in scope can delete it, committed or not. The row and its source file are removed from the vault. Rows still queued or extracting cannot be deleted until they finish.
