The review form
Checking what was extracted before it becomes a client record.
The review form shows the extracted facts as sections. Fields the second pass disagreed with, or could not support from the source, carry a Check flag with two choices: Use that (take the second pass's value) or Keep this. Commit and Draft stay disabled until every flag is resolved.
Sections
- Client: name, ID number (Luhn-checked), date of birth (derived from the ID when absent), contact, marital status, occupation, employer, risk profile.
- Spouse or partner: name, ID, occupation, income, existing cover, retirement contributions. A current spouse becomes a linked client in the same household on commit.
- Dependants: relationship and age.
- Income and expenses: salary, other income rows with a frequency and due month, expense rows with a frequency. The form keeps a live monthly average, the peak month and the expense calendar.
- Assets: value, monthly contribution, growth rate and term. A projected value at term is calculated.
- Liabilities: balance, instalment, rate and, if stated, the term left. Where the term is blank the form works it out from the balance, instalment and rate; a term shown in italics is calculated and is not saved unless you type over it.
- Cover: existing life, disability, severe illness and income protection, with "times salary" amounts resolved per holder.
- Tax position: income tax, dividends, capital gains and estate duty on the stated figures, per person and for the household, using the current SARS tables.
- Objectives and gaps: the client's stated goals and everything the extraction found contradictory or missing.
Calculated fields
Totals of assets, liabilities, income and expenses are read-only and recalculated as you edit rows. Where the notes stated a different total, the stated figure is kept alongside for the drafter to see.
The living expenses gap
If no expense row looks like ordinary living costs, the form raises a gap. Add a living expenses row, or choose Not available, continue and the draft will say so.
Saving
Save writes your changes back into the intake with an audit note of what changed. Committed intakes open read-only.
